NOW AVAILABLE: Peter the Cruise Ship Going to Alaska!

Over the past 100 years or so, thousands of books have been written about cruise ships, cruise lines, oceans and just about any other subject related to the high seas. However, when one tries to find books on these same subjects, written from a close up personal view, the selection suddenly becomes very small, as there is hardly anything available.

The writer has been a captain on cruise ships for many years and the idea about writing about his personal experiences started about 10 years ago when he was asked to do a series of articles for a magazine. These articles, became very successful and today are still being published regularly. These short stories became the basis for the first book, ‘The Captain’s Log.

Written from an even deeper perspective towards sailing, ships, navigation and the world’s oceans, is the children’s book, Peter the Cruise Ship. A book for children ages 2 – 8, about an animated cruise ship called Peter. Peter and his friends, teach a lesson about the value of teamwork, friendship and cooperation, a major topic in early education.

Going back to his own early childhood, the writer remembers how interested he was in transportation and how exposure to ships at that age, set him onto an exiting career.
Peter the Cruise Ship could spark an interest with children which then later could be kept alive with the stories from The Captain’s Log

"The Captain's Log", a gift for cruisers, even would be cruisers, as it tells everything you might have written yourself, only this time from the captains point of view. — Reg Dougherty

When I was reading some of these stories and laughing about them, it slowly dawned on me that I was laughing about myself, as I was there when it happened! — Fellow Captain

We could not put it down and read on and on. We laughed so much... — Anonymous Passenger

It was one of the few books I ever heard my husband laugh out loud while reading it. I asked him to let me have it, but he only told me to buy my own copy, if I was in such a hurry. — Anonymous Passenger

I loved this book, it shows that you are just another human being. — Anonymous Passenger
